About
Carolyn Corrigan is a multimedia artist in Virginia. She is a true horse girl who has loved horses since she was little, and grew up riding competitively. She finds peace through horses’ movement, breath, and presence, and she conveys her gratitude for the human/horse bond by creating art. She primarily paints with oil and draws with charcoal and pastel. She also loves different textures, fabrics, patterns, and color, and enjoys adding these elements to her works to further express horses’ personalities and individuality.
Carolyn studied studio art and art history in college, and ultimately now works in corporate fine art insurance as her day job. In addition, as a busy mama of her toddler daughter, and a wife and pet mama too, she makes her art and runs her business in the evening when the house is quiet.
